Who we are

DentalAI Receptionist ("we", "us") is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [BUSINESS ADDRESS]. This policy explains what data we collect from clinics, their staff, and the patients who call an AI receptionist we operate on a clinic's behalf, and how we use it.

Data we collect

  • Clinic account data: name, email, clinic details, and settings you provide when signing up or configuring your AI receptionist.
  • Call data: call recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated summaries of calls handled by your AI receptionist.
  • Patient data: names, phone numbers, and appointment details collected during a call, on your clinic's behalf, to book/reschedule/cancel appointments.
  • Usage data: standard analytics (pages visited, general location, device type) collected via Google Analytics once you accept our cookie banner.

How we use it

To provide the service (answering calls, managing appointments), to generate call summaries and analytics for your dashboard, to communicate with you about your account, and to improve the product. We do not sell clinic or patient data to third parties.

Third parties we share data with

Call handling is powered by our voice AI provider (Vapi) and Anthropic (Claude, for call summaries). Hosting and data storage is provided by Convex and Vercel. Each processes data only as needed to provide their part of the service.
